Develop Interests And Ambition

email

During education, I found my life to be very demanding and diversified. Then, after I graduated, I noticed how easy it is to get sucked into the routing of getting up, going to work, meeting up with a friend, going home, and going to bed. It cost me around half a year to adapt to this new situation of having to work during day time, to build my life around that, and to re-activate my passions.

In fact, many people lose sight of their passions, or they simply fail at finding a true passion, or interest, in their life. I know many people getting caught up in their routine, without having a real passion or hobby. On the other side, people are always best in what they are passionate about. The greatest entrepreneurs have built their profession around their passion, their ambition, and their interests.

For that reason, it is so vitally important to develop interest, ambition, and passion for something, or for a few things. Can you remember a time in your life, perhaps as you were a child, or a teen, that you were so passionate about something, that you could spend doing it the entire day? Something you never got tired of? And then, as you grew older, and you were not able to organize your spare time as flexibly as you once used to, you got sucked up in your work, your relationship, perhaps your family, and you lost sight of the things that fascinated you.

Personally, I am strongly committed to developing my interests. I am strongly passionate about website development and blogging, I am strongly interested in whiskey, and I am planning to take a introduction into golf, as well as Iaido (Japanese sword fighting). I am not intending to build my passion around what I would like to do as a living; my main intention is to find activities that I can look forward to, that I truly enjoy doing. It is a balance to the stress I have at work, it allows me to reduce that stress, and generally to feel good.
